The meiosis cell is different from the mitosis cell becasue in meiosis there is crossing over between the chromotids in the cells whereas in mitosis the chromotids stay the same and there are only 2 chromotids in meiosis and in mitosis there are 4 chromotids."Modern Biology" Pages 162-163
