Giraffes becasue giraffes have varieties of neck lengths and the inheritance of acquired characteristics is where individuals could acquire traits during their lifetimes as a result of expirences or behavior, then could pass on those traits to offsprings. The scientist who proposed that theory was Jean Baptiste Lamarck.
